Brett brings a complementary background to the Mountain Bay family. Growing up in Hawaii, he learned how to manage businesses at an early age, working in his family’s restaurant group from busboy to running entire operations. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he moved into luxury hotel management in San Francisco, including the Four Seasons, refining his eye for detail and efficiency. In his early 20s, he brought that experience to Silicon Valley, where he worked alongside visionaries like Sam Altman at OpenAI to launch his first TravelTech company, developing innovative software solutions for hotels and airlines. Brett built technology used by companies like Virgin Group under Richard Branson, United Airlines, and every major global hotel chain.

Brett later pursued his love of flying by acquiring his Airline Transport Pilot Certificate. He began flying as an international airline pilot, navigating complex logistics across the globe, flying the Boeing 747, 757 & The Infamous Boeing Dreamlifter. Time spent flying private aircraft for high-net-worth clients sharpened his appreciation for subtle elegance and thoughtful design. In his personal time, Brett also served on the board of one of the largest LGBT sports organizations in the world, shaping his approach to leadership and community. Brett holds a degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University often referred to as "The Harvard of Aviation Schools", with a minor in airport management.

Matthew comes from a long line of builders. His grandfather was a contractor who first sparked his interest in the trades, and his great-grandfather was both a contractor and an architect who contributed to the design of San Francisco’s world-famous Palace of Fine Arts. The original drawings from that project now hang in the Mountain Bay office, a daily reminder of the family’s deep roots in craftsmanship and design.

Growing up in Marin County, Matthew was surrounded by high-end homebuilding and learned the business firsthand from his father, who founded Mountain Bay in 1988. What started as a focus on residential development and renovation quickly expanded into large-scale commercial construction, building food processing facilities for national brands. Working alongside his father, Matthew developed a strong understanding of quality construction, careful planning, and the challenges of managing complex projects.

Beyond his work in construction, Matthew believes in staying connected to the communities where Mountain Bay builds. He takes an active role in local events and looks for ways to give back whenever possible, ensuring that the company’s impact goes beyond the structures they create.

When he is not working, Matthew enjoys flying whenever he can. As a licensed private pilot, he appreciates the focus and attention to detail that aviation requires. Whether in the air or on the ground, he takes pride in doing things the right way and learning from every experience.

Analeece oversees Mountain Bay Aviation, including aircraft management, aviation facilities, and scholarship programs that help the next generation break into the industry. Aviation has been a part of her life from the start. Her mother was not just a private jet captain but a trailblazer who broke down barriers for women in aviation, showing Analeece firsthand what it takes to succeed in a male dominated field. That influence, combined with nearly a decade of experience in flight operations, charter sales, and regulatory compliance, has made her a leader in her own right.

Before joining Mountain Bay, she built a reputation at several large and well respected aviation organizations for anticipating challenges before they happened. She knows how to negotiate complex contracts, streamline operations, and make private aviation feel effortless for aircraft owners and high profile clients. She moves fast, thinks ahead, and always finds a way to get the job done, whether that means securing a last minute charter or optimizing an entire fleet.

What sets Analeece apart is that she is not just focused on business. She is committed to making aviation more accessible and ensuring the next generation has real opportunities to succeed. Through Mountain Bay Aviation, she is helping manage aircraft and aviation facilities while creating pathways for new talent to enter and thrive in the industry.

Kathy heads the Mountain Bay Foundation, bringing a lifetime of aviation experience and a deep commitment to giving back. As one of the first female pilots to fly the Boeing 747, she built a career in charter, corporate, and airline operations, flying for Starbucks and other major companies. She proved that skill, determination, and a love for flying can take you anywhere.

Beyond the cockpit, she ran an all woman professional skydiving team for over 14 years, competing at the highest level and taking part in world record attempts. She has jumped off cliffs and bridges, delivered twins including a breech birth, and somehow managed to raise a family through it all. Her life has been anything but ordinary, and through every challenge and adventure, she has never forgotten the people who helped her along the way.

Now she is focused on growing the foundation into something bigger, creating opportunities for those looking to break into aviation. She is building scholarships, mentoring future pilots, and expanding outreach efforts to support the next generation. She still flies her airplane on the side, staying connected to the skies that shaped her journey, and she is just getting started.
